    Humane Society Naples, SWFL's premiere no-kill shelter for companion animals in need, is seeking an experienced and empathetic human resources professional to oversee recruitment, retention, benefits, and records management for our diverse and growing team. We are looking for an engaging, inclusive, and compassionate individual who is adept at balancing the needs of individual employees with the needs of our organization, to help maintain a diverse and thriving team devoted to caring for dogs, cats, and other furry friends in our community. Qualifications:

    5 or more years' experience in human resources management, including:

    Recruitment

    Onboarding

    Retention

    Performance Management

    Benefits

    Payroll

    Records Management

    Policy Development and Implementation

    Conflict Mediation

    Employee Appreciation

    Employee Assistance

    SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification strongly preferred

    Associate's Degree or higher preferred

    Experience with compliance requirements for staff size of 100 or more

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Familiar with federal and state labor and employment regulations

    Proficient in computer use and ability to learn new software

    Strong communication skills, both spoken and written

    Knowledge of insurance benefits options, terminology, general management

    General familiarity with COVID-19, management of exposures in the workplace, and FL vaccination regulations

    Compensation:$70,000 annuallyBenefits:A robust benefits package that includes:
