Humane Society Naples will be interviewing candidates for Summer Temporary Animal Care Team Member positions. These positions are part-time, temporary summer positions, 15 hours per week (typically 8 am - 11 am 5 days per week) for 10 weeks, $14.25/hr. When: Tuesday March 15, 2022, 11 am - 12 pm, with interviews ending by 12:30 pm. First come, first serve. Arrive by 11:45 am to be guaranteed an interview.

Bring: A copy of your resume. If you do not have a resume, you will be asked to fill out a paper application. Because you may be waiting outside, water is recommended.

Dress Code: Business casual is recommended. A mask covering your nose and mouth is strongly encouraged.

Humane Society Naples is now accepting applications for Temporary Animal Care Team Members for the Summer (June - Aug). The positions are 15 hours per week, typically 8 am to 11 am five days per week. This is a perfect opportunity for students, teachers, and anyone reentering the job market or changing careers who seeks to learn if a career in animal sheltering is right for them.

As a member of our Temporary Animal Care Team, you will work with HSN staff and volunteers at our Main Shelter or our von Arx Adoption Center to provide food and water to our shelter residents, clean enclosures, launder bedding, provide enrichment -- and most importantly be a kind and caring presence for dogs, cats, and other furry friends waiting to find their forever homes.

What you need to know before applying:

You must be 16 or older.

Successful candidates will be expected to work 5 mornings per week, including weekends and some holidays, typically from 8 - 11 am.

Temporary employees are limited to working 15 hours per week.

The duration of the temporary position is 10 weeks.

Pay is $14.25/hr

COVID-19 vaccination and a booster if eligible is required unless qualified for an exemption under Florida law.
