    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The Finance Shared Service Associate will be responsible for working closely with the Tax Levy, Tax Lien, and Credit Resolutions team.  The individual will have access to hands on training.  The Associate will communicate with merchants as well as other individuals outside of the organization via email and phone.  The individual will be responsible for responding promptly to inquiries from customers and other departments. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards merchants.

    ABOUT THE TEAM

    We are searching for a reliable, dedicated team member to join our growing company.  We are currently small team of five that work closely together.  Outstanding candidates are willing to assist wherever possible and often cross train on all roles so that you can eventually become the subject matter expert.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Receives and prepares files from a variety of sources.

    • Prints and reads system files or gathers records and reports to compile needed data.

    • Enters/uploads information into systems.

    • Prepares/processes forms for clients.

    • Posts transactions to accounting records such as worksheet, ledger or system files.

    • Analyzes posted data.

    • Develops/maintains process documentation for each assigned task.

    • Assists in special projects.

    • Interfaces/resolves internal and external customer inquiries

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • Requires a High School diploma and typically a minimum of one years of experience in an office setting and/or finance shared services experience.

    • Knowledge of Tax Liens and Levy regulations a plus.

    • Duties and tasks are somewhat routine, although most questions and problems are resolved by the incumbent.

    • Consults with senior peers on semi-complex processes to learn through experience.

    • Works under general supervision.
