    JOB DESCRIPTION

    FIS Management Services, LLC seeks IT Architect in Collegeville, PA to plan and coordinate all aspects of implementation projects from initiation through delivery. Develops, define, and execute project plans, project scope, schedules, and deliverables. Document and publish appropriate architecture principles and standards, position papers, blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks. Define, construct, support, and provide training for enterprise frameworks. Define and maintain a library of functional component models within and across FIS product lines. Document functional product solutions for key FIS product strategy and product management initiatives leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap. Document functional product solutions for key FIS financial services sales opportunities leveraging defined functional component model libraries and the defined product line architecture roadmap. Maintain a catalogue of reusable functional application components consumable across applications and product lines. Review functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements. Act as tie breaker on design decisions. Document and communicate opportunities to leverage inter-project synergies, application and enterprise software or infrastructure asset re-use and opportunities to expose application assets for enterprise consumption. Communicate system architecture to technical and business audiences.

    REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience: interacting with product development, client relationship teams, technology solutions, service delivery and/or other cross-functional teams; utilizing software and application design and enterprise architecture; implementing full stack software development in various backend including .Net Core, .Net, MVC, Web API, C#, VB.Net, ASP.net, LINQ, WCF, Entity Framework, Angular, Knockout, KendoUI, and Bootstrap; implementing security best practices including use of OAuth2, SAML protocols and data security procedures including quality, modifiability, and extensibility; working with public cloud Azure architectural experience using cloud-based constructs; assigning and monitoring work of offshore development team providing technical and analytical support and direction; and defining and implementing component development processes to support design and development including code reviews, structured unit testing, and vulnerability testing and remediation and continuous integration. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above listed skills.
