SUMMARY Reporting directly to the Brand Director, the Manager of Content Strategy will play a central role in shaping Spectrum Reach’s content strategy and bringing it to life across our owned, earned, paid, and shared channels. You will work cross functionally with Spectrum Reach’s marketing leaders, subject matter experts, internal creative team and copy writers, to deliver engaging content aligned with our strategic goals. The successful candidate will help us define and tell the Spectrum Reach story in ways that will help set us apart from the competition, while inspiring action from the customers we serve. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create, innovate, and develop Content Marketing strategies to grow and nurture our target audiences, identifying opportunities for audience growth on new platforms, new formats, and through new content campaigns.
    • Leverage performance data, marketplace trends and consumer insights to create strategies for our key audience segments that ladder into the overall plan.
    • Define the editorial strategy and distribution plan that connects an audience’s interests to our products, capabilities and tools defining where we can find audience members, understanding format preferences, and generating ideas for how we reach and engage the audience.
    • Own the editorial content calendar. Create, plan, and edit content calendar for a wide range of projects, social media, emails, digital ads, videos, case studies, infographics, brochures, white papers, event collateral, and other marketing initiatives.
    • Work with analytics team to monitor/report progress against KPIs. Track and manage content performance and engagement to measure impact and provide proposals to refine and optimize content strategy.
    • Review and copyedit content for quality and style, as well as consistency with Spectrum Reach’s messaging priorities and brand voice.
    • Work cross-functionally with internal designers, project managers, communications leads and regional teams to ensure project expectations are aligned and optimized.
    • Lead the development of a robust content library to be used across Field Marketing efforts for local market impact
    • Continually raise the bar on the development of compelling, data-driven storytelling with a brand and customer focus.
    • Perform/operate with a ‘start-up’ mentality under an accelerated time frame and in a fast-paced, dynamic, and results-oriented environment.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent work experience
    • Background in Journalism, English, PR/Communications or Marketing ideal.
    • 8-10+ years of experience in an editorial or MarComm role
    • Experience managing and executing content strategy, content structures, and content development that demonstrates audience engagement
    • Advanced writing and editing skills with compelling storytelling abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver high-quality written and verbal presentations
    • Strong skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objectives
    • Experience advising and guiding a team of writers/content strategists.
    • Ability to synthesize a combination of qualitative and quantitative data (1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data sources) to inform insights generation and strategy development (marketing, brand, content, and campaign).
