JOIN THE 2023 FIS UNIVERSITY SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM!
As a 2023 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full-time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 5, 2023 and conclude on August 11, 2023.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Corporate Compliance operates within the 2nd Line of Defense. Our mission is to promote ethical business practices and to support the Company and its employees in understanding and complying with the laws and regulations applicable to our business, products, and services. Led by the Chief Compliance officer, we help the FIS lines of business remain compliant in a fast-changing regulatory environment, we assess controls in place to ensure compliance, and we lead enterprise-wide processes to manage certain regulatory risks such as Privacy, Anti-Money Laundering, and Code of Ethics compliance.
The CQC team was created to support the FIS Consumer Reporting Agency, ChexSystems. CQC is a team dedicated to helping the business ensure that consumer requests and investigations of consumer disputes are resolved accurately and within the timelines required under FCRA. The CQC team has 30 team members that are located in Gurgaon, India, and the United States.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will:
Review consumer and furnisher correspondence to ensure compliance with FCRA requirements related to accuracy and timeliness
Correct correspondence when necessary for distribution to consumers and other stakeholders
Provide feedback to production teams responsible for investigating consumer disputes
Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, procedures, and regulations.
WHAT YOU BRING
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study
Rising Senior (graduating December 2023 through May 2024)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
