ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Technology Business Consultant, you’ll contribute to a critical component of our success. While working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative, new solutions that meet their needs and help advance the way the world pays, banks and invests.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Researching client needs, analyzing trends and best practices and creating detailed program specifications
Devising procedures to achieve greater efficiencies and solve complex technical problems.
Assessing available technologies and recommending solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems as well as application development.
Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language (UML).
An understanding of appropriate application programming languages. A bachelor's in computer science or information systems or the equivalent experience.
Merchant Acquirer/ Retail experience
Extensive work on projects involving EFT Switching, Merchant Acquiring, Payment Processing, ATM and POS Terminal Driving, Card Issuance & Authorization, Transaction Security and Key Management.
Deep understanding of multiple payment brands (VISA, Mastercard, Amex, UnionPay, Interac etc), regional payment practices and emerging solutions.
Worked on back-office applications related to settlement and chargeback dispute processing.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience of working on industry standards like EMVCo (Contact, Contactless), ISO8583, ISO20022 etc.
Good understanding of recent trends in payment industry such as Mobile Banking, Digital Wallets, Tokenization, EMVCo, Secure Remote Commerce, NEXO Standards.
Proficient in gathering the business requirements and converting those into technical & functional solutions.
Collaborated with terminal device & application vendors, merchant and bank technical teams & payments scheme teams across various geographies.
Successfully executed projects involving digital transformation and migration of legacy payment systems
