JOB DESCRIPTION
MULTIBODY DYNAMICS & SIMULATION ENGINEER

This position will be responsible for ensuring that the analysis, design, test, and flight operation of dynamics systems lead to successful completion of mission and meet or exceed requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Resolve multibody dynamics problems through analysis, simulation, and test.
- Create custom dynamic simulations to enable and inform engineering decisions.
- Model anchoring and improvements by planning and executing test campaigns.
- Develop and maintain model documentation and databooks.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or other similar technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience using engineering simulation software such as MATLAB, LS-DYNA, or MSC.ADAMS.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Experience with multibody dynamics modeling and mechanisms.
- Strong foundation with loads analysis, structural dynamics, and mechanics.
- Solid foundation of vibroacoustic and structural static/dynamic fundamentals, including PSD, OASPL, SRS, Miles Equation, fatigue damage, FFT, static/dynamic equilibrium, stress/strain/modulus, bending/shear/axial force development, etc.
- Knowledge in the use of FEA analysis tools (ANSYS, NASTRAN, & Hypermesh)
- Advanced knowledge in the design, development, testing, and verification of dynamic models of physical systems;
- Demonstrated ownership of broad problems from conception to execution.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Communicates effectively to peers, customers, and management and can achieve buy-in.
