We will be offering both marketing/advertising and human resources/payroll services to new and growing businesses, using our expertise in those areas to assist companies in achieving their goals. From creating captivating websites to optimizing their online presence, managing social media, and ensuring compliant payroll and HR operations, we are committed to helping small businesses grow.

    Humarq employees will enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment that will reward hard work. This is a remote position that offers valuable hands-on experience in various areas of business operations. As an intern, you will work closely with our administrative and customer service team to ensure customer satisfaction and accurate record-keeping. This is a Summer internship (May 13 - August 16) with the possibility of being extended and/or promoted to a full-time position after graduation (this is not guaranteed but will be an option for star performers).

    This will be an unpaid internship. Academic credit options will be discussed during the interview process.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. He or she will be comfortable with administrative duties to include calendaring and answering incoming calls, customer service, and accounts receivable/payable. At this time, we will only be considering Business majors who are rising Juniors, Seniors, or graduate students.

    **Responsibilities
    ** - New-customer onboarding, ensuring paperwork is complete and customer information is entered into Humarq's internal system(s)
    - Attend new-customer onboarding meetings
    - Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing documents, and managing emails
    - Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and conference calls
    - Prepare and distribute memos, emails, and newsletters to the team
    - Conduct research and compile data for various projects
    - Assist in organizing and maintaining digital files
    - Provide support to the team as needed, including answering phone calls and routing inquiries
    - Collaborate with other interns and team members to complete assigned tasks and projects
    - Receive vendor invoices and forward to the appropriate parties
    - Be an additional set of eyes to ensure all customers have paid outstanding invoices
    - Track all customer communications in the customer relationship management (CRM) software
    - Attend all required meetings and training classes

    **Qualifications
    ** - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
    - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
    - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    - Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
    - Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy
    - Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
    - Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
    - Previous administrative experience is a plus

    This is a part-time internship position for the Fall Semester that will offer a flexible schedule to accommodate your coursework. Since this position is 100% remote, interns must have access to a reliable internet connection and possess the necessary equipment for remote work. Although this is a remote position, we require interns to be available during regular business hours.
