    We are seeking a PCBA REWORK AND TEST TECHNICIAN to join a team of experienced and highly motivated Software, Electrical, RF, Computer and Robotics engineers, and professionals in Sales, Manufacturing and G&A. THIS IS A PART-TIME ROLE (25-29 HOURS PER WEEK) AND IS BASED OUT OF OUR OFFICE IN WALTHAM, MA. 

    Just as GPS drove huge gains in efficiency and safety across industries, so will micro-location technology do the same in the built environment, where GPS doesn't work. Internet of Things. Robotics. Industrial automation. It all starts with location. Micro-location is the common thread that ties these technologies together. 

    Humatics has developed a breakthrough micro-location system that will revolutionize how people and machines locate, navigate and collaborate. A single Humatics system, using simple, inexpensive radio-frequency technology, can pinpoint multiple, moving targets with submillimeter precision – enabling new uses of industrial automation and human-machine interaction. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Inspect solder joints and wiring
    • Build cable and wire harnesses
    • Ability to hand solder PCBA components
    • Light mechanical disassembly and reassembly

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Ability to read schematics and mechanical assembly drawings
    • Working knowledge of Ubuntu Linux is preferred, but not required
    • Technical skills are required, but a degree is not required. Students are welcome.

      

    THIS POSITION IS BASED OUT OF HUMATICS HEADQUARTERS IN WALTHAM, MA. HOURS ARE FLEXIBLE.
