About the opportunity

Hungryroot is seeking an energetic, empathetic, and detail oriented customer advocate who's ready to make their mark on a growing team. Retail Associates & Keyholders will work 20 to 25 hours a week, including some weekends and holidays. Your ability to work non-traditional hours is a huge plus!

You've established a track record as a dedicated and positive team player, have a passion for making customers happy, love health and wellness, and you're ready for your next challenge.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Deliver above-and-beyond customer service in our first store location
• Become an expert on Hungryroot and spread the love of Hungryroot to all store customers
• Think creatively about ways in which we can optimize each customer's in-store experience
• Operate our point-of-sale system

Requirements

• 0-2 years in a retail experience related position; startup experience a plus
• Available and flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Able to learn many systems & products quickly and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You'll be talking to our customers all day so it's a must that you love chatting!
• Organized, detail-oriented, and a multi-tasker to the core
• “No task is too small” attitude
• Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
• A motivated, positive, and selfless attitude!

• Based in our Manhattan store
• Reports directly to our Store Manager
• This is a part-time, hourly role
