    ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

    We are looking for a design-minded, research-obsessed individual to help create consistent and delightful end-to-end experiences across our digital product. In this role, you'll work highly collaboratively with Engineers and Product Managers to deliver practical, simple and effective solutions to the most important product problems. If you're someone who is passionate about developing strategies based on insights from real people, and who can turn those insights into beautifully designed prototypes and products, both interactions and visuals, then this is the right role for you.

    AS OUR FIRST DEDICATED PRODUCT DESIGNER, YOU WILL:

    • Serve as a core member of our product development process with design thinking, research methods, sketching, prototyping, testing, thoughtful execution, and iteration
    • Work collaboratively with your Product and Engineering team partners to realize the product/feature vision
    • Work with the Product team to create detailed user flows, product maps, and wireframes to clearly communicate current and future customer journeys
    • Create low and high fidelity prototypes to be used in testing
    • Present designs informed by research and business objectives at design critiques and iterate based on feedback from the wider team
    • Partner with Engineering and Creative teams to ensure a high-level of polish throughout the development cycle
    • Conduct competitive analyses and suggest innovative ways to create value for the user throughout our digital product

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally in-house on consumer tech products
    • Desktop and mobile web design experience
    • Strong knowledge of interaction design fundamentals and interface design best practices
    • Deep experience in design and prototyping software like Sketch and InVision
    • Firsthand experience with UX research methods
    • Natural balance between attention to detail and big picture thinking
    • Comfortable with a fast-paced, iterative approach to design and product development
    • Exceptional project management and communication skills
    • A positive, can-do attitude
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
