Job Description

RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR will work in R&D in support of chemical analysis for the semiconductor industry. We are looking for an effective, results-driven, self-directed and motivated team player

RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare chemical solutions and dilutions to precise specifications for experiments
• Conduct chemical experiments and routine research activities
• Accurately document observations and experimental results
• Maintain inventory records of supplies and raw materials, and prepare requisitions as needed
• Support chemists and work with QC lab for sample analyses
• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Investigating root cause and develop improvement plan
• Participating in lab problem solving and troubleshooting
• Practicing lab hygiene and following safety procedure
• Safely manage chemical waste per regulatory standards
• Identifies and suggests improvements in methods, plans projects of limited duration and scope, troubleshoots when erroneous or unexpected results occur.

RESEARCH INVESTIGATOR QUALIFICATIONS:

• B.Sc in Chemistry (Preferred), Biology or Chemical Engineer
• Two years hands-on lab post college work experience, prefer chemical analysis ( QC lab experience)
• Capable of working both independently and in a collaborative setting
• Ability to safely perform multiple tasks and coordinate activities
• Work safely and adhere to core values and ability to lead and uphold core values
• Ability to work flexible schedule including some overtimes.
