SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER

ORANGE, CA

$42/HOUR SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER will be primarily responsible for material planning at this facility. This will include planning of internal and external raws, imports, and management of our Transloading facilities on the West Coast.

SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Planning of raw materials across the PMU portfolio based on demand.
• Responsible for import planning along with planning for critical raw materials, some being used within the medical industry.
• Will be responsible to manage the relationship, the railcar fleet, and the planning across multiple Transloader sites on the West Coast
• Your working knowledge of SAP (Z2L) as well as other essential Supply Chain tools and channels will help you be successful in SAP planning which is the primary focus of this role.
• Monitor critical shipments, new demand requirements and order changes on a regular basis to allow for an on time delivery to our customers.
• Lead the monthly reconciliation process across multiple 3rd party transloading sites.
• Act as the main point of contact for all transportation/carrier related issues in regard to raw materials.
• The main point of contact between Sales/Customer Care and Site Production/Logistics
• Working with other sites across North America to ensure alignment and success.
• Management of inventory levels along with coordination on dysfunctional inventory is also required in this role.

SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS degree preferably in Supply Chain management, Business Management or a related field
• Experience in Supply Chain, Customer Care, Production Planning or another related field.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office
• Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative and interpersonal skills
