The average successful person in this role could expect to earn at least $60,000. A top performer could expect to earn $80,000 or more. Responsibilities: • Welcome customers by greeting them. • Advises customers by providing information on products. • Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales expectations. • Assess client repair needs and make recommendations for service work. • Perform store set up and closing operations, including opening, and closing office area and moving jewelry to and from store safe and display areas. • Provide outstanding customer service and a luxury shopping experience to grow our customer base. • Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records. • Processes payments, checks, cash, and store or other credit cards. • Keeps clientele informed of preferred customer events and future merchandise of potential interest. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Understand and utilize policies and procedures to be proficient in handling customer transactions and solving customer service issues appropriately. • Perform basic store maintenance, merchandising, and other required activities to keep the store clean, safe, and inviting. Qualifications: • Proven track record of at least 3 years of experience in a sales position or related field. • Assess client needs through qualifying questions. • The ability to overcome objections. • Working knowledge of the sales process and POS and CRM software. • Jewelry-related product knowledge is a plus. • Superb communication skills, both written and verbal. • Exceptional interpersonal skills, an active listener. • Attention to detail, organized, and effective time management skills. • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences. • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred. • Possess a valid U.S. driver’s license. Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 at plan commission
