    Huska Consulting has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, independent, achievement-oriented, and honest individual to join our growing team. We are a small business that has grown from one to nine employees and has seen revenue growth of 30%+ per year since its founding in 2017. We are offering the opportunity to get involved on the ground floor of our growing business. Members of our team have a direct impact on our success and are exposed to all aspects of development projects. We are seeking to hire a staff engineer with a passion for land development to work closely under our Virginia & Maryland project manager. Work would include all the different aspects of site design including site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control. You would be responsible for providing preliminary design plans, documents, and computations to our project managers for review. You would have the opportunity to work on Virginia and Maryland-based projects ranging in scale from small residential to commercial to large multi-family. The position is in person at our Reston, VA office for the initial training period. This typically takes one month depending on individual progression. After the initial training period, you would move into a hybrid position working 1-2 days a week remotely. Eventually, you would become a full-time remote employee. Responsibilities: • Work would include all the different aspects of site design including site layout, grading, stormwater management, utility design, and erosion and sediment control. • Responsible for providing preliminary design plans, documents, and computations to our project managers for review. • Work on Virginia and Maryland-based projects ranging in scale from small residential to commercial to large multi-family. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. • Proficiency and working knowledge of AutoCAD. • Passion for land development and design. • EIT certifications are preferred. • Strong aptitude for solving technical problems. • A working understanding of civil engineering and land development design. Compensation: $62,000 - $70,000 yearly
