Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated, long term, seasoned person to join our Human Resources family. This person would be responsible for supporting the Human Resources Administrator in their tasks. Essential job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and administering Human Resources policies and procedures that relate to company personnel
- Contributing to the development of HR department goals, objectives, and systems
- Creating and revising job descriptions
- Conducting annual reviews
- Developing, revising, and recommending policies and procedures
- Maintaining and revising the companys handbook on policies and procedures
- Performing benefits administration
- Conducting new employee orientations, open enrollment, and employee relations counseling
- Using our time and attendance system to ensure time cards are correct
- Conducting terminations and exit interviews
- Maintaining department records and reports
- Participating in administrative staff meetings
- Recommending new policies, approaches, and procedures
- Knowledgeable about labor laws and leaves, e.g. FMLA; CFRA; ADA; and WC
- Able to multitask
- Able to be organized and meet multiple deadlines
- Strong attention to detail skills
This position is very fast paced with a heavy workload. WE ARE A TEAM AND WORK AS A TEAM. We are looking for someone to grow with us.
Hiring will go through an agency. This is a temp to hire position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least 1 year of Human Resources experience.
Be knowledgeable in labor laws and leaves.
