We’re looking for an experienced and professional installation technician to help clients stay comfortable and healthy indoors. We are looking for a licensed qualifier to complement our electrical company. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installing a variety of HVAC equipment, including indoor air quality, refrigerant, and control systems. You’re comfortable referencing blueprints and manuals to solve complex problems and working with a team to safely and efficiently complete a variety of installations. Responsibilities: • Lay out and connect electrical wiring using hand tools according to the wiring diagram • Check electrical testing equipment to check all electrical circuits and components • Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks • Connect pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source • Maintain records of completed projects and parts used Qualifications: • Must have required state and local HVAC technician licenses • Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills • Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections • Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification • Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician Compensation: $18 - $25 hourly
