We are searching for an energetic and responsible HVAC Installer Helper to join our Rice Heating team in Tangent, OR. As an Installer Helper, you will acquire the talents required to install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for both residential and commercial purposes. You will gain important knowledge in the HVAC industry and improve your expertise in this area of specialization. Benefits we offer: • Full-Time/Year-Round Work • Matching 401(K) • Health Insurance • 6 Paid Holidays • PTO Responsibilities: • Follow instructions and carry out job assignments in a timely manner • Assemble and install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems/units according to the building code and standard practice (i.e. gas furnace, air handler, heat pumps, ac, ductless, RTU, tube heaters, various gas line plumbing) • Follows through on job assignments and management directions • Follow safety protocols and adhere to quality inspection standards • Maintain clean workspace environment • Clean and organized work vehicle • Must be willing to work in crawl spaces and attics • Provide your own basic tooling for job, we do provide some tools/equipment (i.e. vacuum pump, recovery machine/tank, ladders, cleaning equipment, etc.) Qualifications: • Must be able to read a tape measure • Mechanical aptitude required, with construction experience preferred • Capable of using hand/power tools • Must have a clean driving record/be insurable • Must be able to pass a drug test • HVAC experience: 2 years minimum (but not required) • Must be at least 22 years of age Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly DOE
