We are looking for a personable, experienced HVAC service technician who loves to problem solve to join our team. You'll be responsible for a variety of work orders, visiting homes and businesses to work on HVAC, indoor air quality, refrigeration, and control systems. The ideal candidate has the technical skills to identify and isolate problems, is familiar with using hand and power tools, and has strong communication skills to explain what needs to be repaired, replaced, or installed, and why. Responsibilities: • Understand and employ electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams • Present customers with a total for the HVAC services, repairs, and installation • Locate and correct HVAC problems, including component installation and replacement • Carry out customer warranty services and preventative maintenance plans • Certify newly installed components properly function Qualifications: • Applicant must have required local and state HVAC tech licenses • Current driver’s license and clean driving record • Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school or 1+ years experience in the field as an HVAC helper or equivalent • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, and an exceptional problem-solver • Must have EPA 608 refrigerant recovery certification Compensation: $35-40 hourly
