The Hyatt Place Columbus OSU is currently seeking an experienced Part time Night Auditor. The Night Auditor creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service. This position is responsible for running the hotel during third shift.
Our compensation package includes an $12.00 hourly wage( commensurate with experience), medical, dental, Life, 401k with match, vacation, PTO after 90 days of service, dining and travel discounts, special offers from our business partners, and discount programs for selected cell phone providers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Complete the nightly audit and accounting processes.
Service the Gallery Host Stand, Bakery Cafe, and Guest Kitchen.
Delivery of items to guests’ rooms.
Deliver guest folios.
Close and open swimming pool.
Investigate noise complaints.
Respond to engineering calls.
Complete property walks to ensure all aspects of property safety & security are in place.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must have schedule flexibility for weekends and holidays.
Requires a strong command of the English language to include speaking, reading and writing.
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced position with guest interaction.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be 21 years or older.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
Must possess basic computer skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Ideal candidate will have accounting background/experience.
