    Currently we are seeking a Hydraulics Technician to join our team and be an essential part of our manufacturing team. This person is responsible for installing hydraulic elements to the body of the garbage trucks.

    Your Role in Our Mission:

    Assemble hydraulic components in an efficient manner to maximize production and minimize waste.

    Maintains accuracy of products by following work orders.

    Mount and plumb hydraulic components to the fabricated product.

    Maintain/produce a level of inventory that will minimize production delays.

    Inspects own work for leaks and other problems and makes corrections as needed.

    Operate a forklift to move around subassemblies.

    Clean and maintain an orderly work area.

    Flare and bend hydraulic tubes.

    Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the appropriate personnel.

    To Perform this Job Successfully:

    1 year of experience in using hand and power tools preferred.

    General understanding of hydraulics including pumps, valves, cylinders, and plumbing of components.

    Some mechanical knowledge relative to operating a hose fitting machine.

    Math skills including using and reading fractions and angles.

    Good communication skills.

    Able to read a tape measurer and angle finder.

    Maintain a positive sense of teamwork, including the ability to maintain regular attendance.
