    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Level 3 (MSP) to join our Managed IT Services firm. We support clientele nationally and continue to expand.     Responsible for the highest-level escalations along with project work

    Projects will include internal and external

    Proactively respond to escalated/assigned tickets and tasks

    Visit local customer sites to complete projects, one day or multiple days

    Work with leadership to consolidate efforts and get results

    Effectively assist in mentorship of level I & II team members

    Identify potential for improvement in customer environments & work with team to build roadmaps

    Understand, follow & improve SOPs

    Background in desktop, system and network admin required

    Experience with CRM ticketing system(s) required

    Mild Sales Engineering

    Configure and install various computers and hardware

    Install and integrate new server hardware and applications

    Enjoys moving around and interacting with clients

    Install and maintain approved security tools, policies, and follow procedures to implement

    Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

    Bachelor's Degree, Technical school, or related certifications (CCNA or equivalent, Network+)

    Experience working in a call center, NOC, or customer service-oriented position a major plus

    Single-Sign-Ons integrations

    InTune

    Wireless Access Points configuration and installation

    Backup & DR

    Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022

    On Prem Active Directory, Azure AD, File/Print Services

    Desktop support & Troubleshooting (Win7, 10, 11, Apple)

    TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS

    DNS record management – MX, SPF

    Web Servers (IIS, Apache) a major plus

    Network Fundamentals, Switching and Routing, Layer2/Layer3 switching

    Network Design, Visio, and Documentation Skills necessary

    OSI Model

    Virtualization (VMware, HyperV)

    Office 365, Google G Suite a plus

    Email Security Systems (Filtering, Secure Messaging, DLP)

    VPN

    VOIP, QoS a major plus

    SQL Administration & Performance Tuning a major plus

    Linux

    Apache, phpMyAdmin, hardening a major plus

    Storage/SAN technology a major plus

    Vendor liaison support

    Infrastructure and Operations support to App Developers

    Requirements

    Valid Driver's License

    Own Vehicle for Transportation to/from Client Sites

    Valid Car Insurance

    Must be willing to commute to Erdenheim, PA

    Must be willing to visit client sites

    Must have ability to lift up-to 50lbs of technical equipment

    Must have basic tools
