    Start date:05/28/2025

    Pay: $30 to $33 depending on experience.

    Job Summary:

    The Hyperbaric Technician (HBO Tech) is responsible for administering hyperbaric oxygen therapy to patients as prescribed by a physician and under the supervision of a certified hyperbaric physician. The technician ensures the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related systems while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

    need 2 sup refs (charge accepted) at submittal; 1 w/in 12 mo. & 1 w/in 3 years worked

    For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling, but we would include this verbiage on the confirmation. Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed

    • Unit: Wound Care

    of patients treated = 1 to 6

    Ratio = 1 to 2 Required certs = BLS, CHT (certified hyperbaric tech) Diagnosis =DM ulcers, Osteomylitis, flap/grafs, late effects of radiation Experience = EMT/ LVN/CHT Area of coverage = Outpatient wound clinic & Hyperbaric Oxygen Shifts = Monday thru Friday 8 to 5, no weekends and/or holidays/and on call or standby Floating = only in the department if there are no HBOT patients, then would function as medical assistant/LVN/EMT assisting RNs in vital signs, wound measurements, room cleaning & prep, wound care, wound photographs Scrubs = green Department Orientation = training at the Common Learning Center in Sacramento and the wound care/HBO orientation & competencies in the department
