The Assembly 1 position in Wichita, KS entails putting together products to meet the required specifications and routing instructions. The successful individual will execute these tasks to the highest standards. Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. • Utilizes CNC Benders, Parflange, Deburring tool, Rotary saw, Hose Crimpers, Tape Measures, and various other hand tools to create tubing, hoses sub-assemblies per customer specification • Utilizes build instructions and testing reports to document product conformity • Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the lead and or supervisor • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations • Performs prescribed preventive maintenance on machines as required • Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision • Upholds Hyspeco Safety and Personnel Policies • Upholds ISO 9001:2015 requirements as defined in Hyspeco’s quality procedures/processes Competencies • Technical Capacity • Learning Orientation • Time Management • Thoroughness • Ability to read a tape measure and other required measurement devices Supervisory Responsibility • This position has no supervisory responsibility Qualifications: • Ability to work alone or on a team • Attention to detail • Ability to use a measuring tape • Desire to produce high-quality products • An understanding of and wish to own a piece of the company Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly
