    Job Description

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Overall responsible for the administration, coordination and maintenance of safety training programs
    • Identify training needs for the project through formal needs assessments
    • Liaise with EHS Team to ensure all training needs are achieved
    • Liaise with EHS Team on scheduling
    • Travel job site when requested to coach and reinforce learnings
    • Maintain and update records
    • Ensure the project is compliant to MIOSHA and any Federal Programs as required
    • Ensure the project is compliant with training programs such as Fall protection, Scaffold, HAZCOM, Emergency Evacuation, Fire Extinguisher, First Aid, Confined Space, etc...
    • Monitor human error trends as a result of training to assess training impacts and provide solutions to demonstrate a downward trend
    • Other assigned projects or work, as required.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

    • 3+ years of training experience within a Construction environment.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following: fall protection, scaffold, confined space entry, HAZMAT general awareness, lock out tag out, respiratory protection, crane operator (including rigging), fork lift truck and aerial platform usage.
    • Strong ability to perform in an autonomous environment; organizing and prioritizing both time and tasks effectively
    • Experience working with craft workers
    • Excellent oral and written training/communication skills
    • Proficiency with MS Office Products
    • Demonstrated experience as a team-oriented self-starter, eager to meet and exceed objectives, with the ability to handle a multi-project environment.
    • Position will require flexibility in working hours and possible weekend work
    • Valid Driver’s License required
    • Valid Passport a plus
    • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
    • OSHA 500 (preferred)
