    Job Description

    FINANCIAL OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

    IAG Wealth Partners is actively seeking a Financial Operations Associate. We are looking for an organized, professional, self-motivated and energetic individual to join our team and provide administrative, operational, and customer service support. You will be accountable for assisting in the achievement of individual and team goals. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail. The abilities to work independently and to multi-task are essential, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Develop a cohesive and efficient working relationship with assigned financial advisor(s)

    · Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients via phone, mail, and in-person

    · Prepare forms and other materials for client meetings

    · Process required paperwork for client account set-up and investment implementation

    · Provide ongoing customer service for specific client requests and for online account access

    · Schedule client meetings and appointments

    · Maintain client database

    · Maintain compliance with broker/dealer and regulatory requirements

    · Work as a team member including some backup for other members when necessary

    · Occasional front-desk backup including answering phones and greeting guests

    · Attend occasional mandatory team and company meetings

    · Participate in and assist with company events (sometimes outside of normal work hours)

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1-3 years of financial industry experience required
    • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business administration, finance, or accounting preferred
    • Great attention to detail; desire to deliver superior client service
    • Ability to multi-task with high degree of accuracy
    • Professional and positive attitude geared to serve people
    • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
    • Highly ethical team player; desire to work in small team environment where all pitch in
    • Ability to learn and accept standard operating procedures and compliance regulations
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
    • Candidates will undergo required background checks/fingerprinting as required by the SEC
    • Candidates may also undergo certain team building/personality assessments

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This is a very detail-oriented position. There are a lot of variables that come into play on a daily basis. Any client requests, market changes, or advisor needs will vary drastically. An efficient management of time will be key to success in this role. The ideal candidate will be able to acclimate quickly to these sudden changes while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
