STV, Inc. currently has an opening in our Baltimore (Woodlawn), MD office for a career focused HIGHWAY ENGINEER to join our growing Transportation and Infrastructure Division!

Key responsibilities will include design and review of all phases of highway plan development for MDOT (SHA and MdTA), Baltimore City DOT and various MD County roadway projects.

The preferred candidate should have highway or transit design, plan and report development experience including:

• Highway geometrics
• Roadway modeling and cross section development
• Grading and drainage
• ADA and bicycle design
• Right of way (ROW) plan development
• Preparation of plans specifications and construction cost estimates

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field required
• PE or EIT certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• MicroStation, InRoads, Autoturn and Microsoft Office experience
