  • Responsibilities

    The Data Analyst has a vital role within the organization and will be responsible for working with all areas within manufacturing site to analyze, guide & support digital competencies.

     

    Additional duties include developing, qualifying and implementing new products, processes and materials for manufacturing. This role will also lead, coordinate, and organize all defined lean activities toward the end of creating and fostering a Digital Continuous Improvement culture.

    COORDINATE DIGITAL INITIATIVES

    • Ensure coordination with the Digital Transformation strategy and Digital roadmap
    • Support and boost initiatives for automatic data collection and data mining
    • Deploy common tools & guidelines for digital transformation
    • Train people to involve them in a digital culture

    DATA INTEGRITY & CONSOLIDATION: BI REPORTING

    • Validate the data sources and adequacy
    • Create and enforce policies for effective data management
    • Formulate and share data collection techniques and procedures for data management
    • Establish routes and controls to gather the data

    DEVELOPMENT OF MASTER DATA ANALYTICS

    • Develop people competencies and Data analytics skills
    • Create IWAY Digital Assessment for digital maturity
    • Implement tools and best practices identified in the manufacturing sites
    • Participate in the vision & strategy definition for data analytics

    SOFTWARE DESIGN AND PROGRAMMING (DEVOPS)

    • Support Internal and External development for Manufacturing
    • Identify, document and Share best practices and internal tools
    • Support ERP request & needs from manufacturing site as key user

    COORDINATION WITH IT SEC, GSC AND OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE TEAM

    • Lead digital transformation strategy in the manufacturing site
    • Ensure compliance to IT Sec. guidelines and GSC targets
    • Coordinate best practices sharing with Continuous Improvement network

    Required Skills

    Required:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics or equivalent
    • Proven experience as data or business data analyst
    • 2-5 years experience in a manuf. environment
    • Strong knowledge and experience in reporting, databases & data management (SQL, Python, R, Gretl.)
    • Experience with DataViz tools. Ideally Tableau, Power BI & Elastic (Logstash, Elastic Search, Kibana)
    • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysis
    • Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate data & information

    Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, text mining, social network analysis, etc.
    • Familiar with Agile and pragmatic approach
    • Data Scientist Expertise or Specialization
    • Experience solving complex, ambiguous, and analytically challenging problems
    • Strong knowledge of digital strategic planning, execution and portfolio management
    • Strong organizational skills and good judgment; must be a team player, positive, flexible, and creative
    • Excellent process management and planning skills
    • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage data-driven and results-oriented programs that achieve targeted goals
    • Comfortable operating in a fast paced and dynamic test and learn environment
