    THE SILK SCREEN PRESS OPERATOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPERATION OF A SILK SCREEN PRESS, ACHIEVING QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY OBJECTIVES AS WELL AS SAFETY, SECURITY AND AUDIT COMPLIANCE. HE/SHE WILL MAINTAIN THE PRESS AS WELL AS THEIR WORK AREA.

    Reporting directly to the Graphics supervisor the silk-screen press operator is responsible for the operations of make-ready, run of jobs and handling paperwork as required in the pressroom. He/She is responsible to minimize the waste and to guarantee the best possible quality for our clients. He/She has to manage a press helper if provided one and may be needed to train new employees. The silk screen press operator has to run the press using his/her skills to ensure quality and consistency in production. He/She needs to check and optimize ink drying with a minimum sheet distortion following set parameters.

    • The operations of make-ready, run of jobs and handling paperwork as required in the pressroom.
    • Responsible for the maintenance and up-keep of the assigned screen press and screen frame cleanliness after production.
    • The Screen press operator has to run the press using his/her skills to ensure quality and consistency with-in production.
    • He/she needs to check and optimize ink drying with minimum sheet distortion
    • Must be able to meet the company’s attendance and tardiness standards, conform to lunch schedules, and attend all required company functions such as departmental meetings, or safety training sessions.
    • Must wear all required PPE.
    • Must comply with all rules of conduct and safety, follow directions, and accept and respect authority.
    • Must be able and willing to learn new methods and systems.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    • Previous experience in Screen Printing or any type of printing. i.e.; operator, helper
    • Mechanical aptitude

  • Qualifications

    MS advanced level, particularly MS Excel. Minimum of 2 years full cycle recruiting, ability to work with client facing senior management (excellent communication skills both written and verbal), able to handle escalations, high volume, detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment. This recruiting role is a liaison between our client teams and client approved suppliers to hire contractors for various projects
