+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: | | | | - Associate’s degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or other | | natural science, which includes or supplemented by at least 30 | | semester hours in meteorology or atmospheric science. Examples | | include: U.S. military technical schools; college, or equivalent | | combination of education and experience. | | - Must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in operational | | meteorology supporting airfield services to include | | weather observing. | | - Experience in programs and services provided by an operational | | weather office. One (1) year specific forecasting experience and | | direct experience in personnel/office management, curriculum | | development and conducting OJT.
