Designs, develops, tests, and implements cyber applications, secure operating systems, and database products to find secure solutions for enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks at expert level. *
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Provides lead support for processes, investigations and maintenance of system accreditation*
- Identifies where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.*
- Involved in conducting audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are implemented as defined in security plans and best practices. *
- Supports the formal testing requirements through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results, and preparation of required reports.
- Involved in passive evaluations (compliance audits) and/or active evaluations (vulnerability assessments).
- Assist in tracking and scheduling resources for all vulnerability assessments.
- Knowledgeable with and have the ability to identify the full range of security issues involving architectures, firewalls, electronic data traffic, and network access. *
- Conducts architectural analysis and relates existing system to future needs and trends. *
- Provides technical expertise and guidance to more junior team members.*
- May interface with external agencies (law enforcement, intelligence/government agencies, etc.)
- May assist in implementing cyber security measures for cloud computing and mobile devices application security products.

Required Skills
Required Experience
- Master’s degree in related field or equivalent
- Minimum of 12 years of work related experience.
- Experience with eMASS; RMF; procedures and requirements; Enterprise, tactical and CRN systems
- Experience with POA&M
- Current CompTIA Security+ CE
- OS (Operating System) certification
- US Citizenship required; Secret Clearance required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Army and Navy cyber protocols.
