ABOUT US:

PIH Health is a nonprofit health and wellness network serving Los Angeles and Orange Counties. Our integrated system consists of 747 beds at two acute care hospitals and a multi-specialty medical group, Family Medicine and DO residency programs, hospice, home health and a wide range of other services.

We have immediate openings for Full-Time Faculty for our Family Medicine Residency program. Successful candidates will be part of a dynamic and progressive team of faculty and educators in training and developing family practitioners.

Required Experience

ABOUT YOU:

To be successful in this position, you’ll need to have the following:

• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of California or able to be licensed in CA and in good standing with the licensed Medical Board
• Achieve and maintain Hospital medical staff membership and clinical privileges
• Graduate from an accredited Medical School 
• At least two (2) years clinical practice as a family medicine physician
• Residency trained and Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (the ACGME accepts no other qualification for this position)
• Spanish language proficiency is highly desirable
• Obstetric practice experience is highly desirable
• Enjoy living less than an hour from the coast and downtown Los Angeles
• Enjoy living just a little over an hour to the desert and mountains form some winter snow
• Enjoy more than 310 days of sunshine Southern California living
