SUMMARY:
IAP Worldwide Services, Inc. has an immediate opening for a position for a Sr. Electronics/Electrical Engineer position for recent 1 year Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) Task Order (TO) win.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Provide system level engineering support in the development of an experimental weapons system targeting platform for the Aberdeen Test Center.
- Perform market research and determine what commercially available of the shelf products may be used or integrated into a solution.
- Work products include, but are not limited to: DSP algorithm and module design, test methodology, documentation, briefing materials, working group notes, documented analysis methodologies, technical drawings.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of a graduate degree in a Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science discipline from an ABET accredited institution plus 10 years of Engineering experience or a Bachelor’s degree + 12 years of experience. Graduate level DSP Certificate is acceptable.
- Documented experience must total a minimum of 10 years engineering experience with at least three of the following: Digital Signal Processing (DSP) development, Logic Design, Microprocessor Software and Hardware, Industrial Controls Design, Instrumentation or Circuit design.
- Have experience with digital electronic hardware designs, such as ASICs and FPGAs
LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Demonstrated background in Electro-Optical imaging system development.
- Experience writing technical papers or reports.
- Demonstrated laboratory experience in electro-optics and SWIR.
- Excellent communications skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer programming and data analysis tools (e.g. Python, MATLAB)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
TRAVEL:
- Some periodic travel may be required
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Minimum of a SECRET clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI)
