ROLE:                     AWS ARCHITECT

LOCATION:             HOUSTON, TX

EMP TYPE:           PERMANENT JOB

•                    Support the client architect team to help formulate a strategy to help the adoption of AWS within the focus industry verticals.

•                    Guide client to ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services following the principles of the public cloud( AWS)

•                    Help educate enterprise customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.

•                    Help provide one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.

•                    Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architecture community.

•                    Author or otherwise contribute to client customer-facing publications such as blogs and whitepapers.

•                    Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable them to be cloud advocates.

•                    Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adaption process.

•                    Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.

•                    Develop and organize cloud systems.

•                    Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.

•                    Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.

•                    Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.

•                    Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.

•                    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant field.

•                    3-5+ years' experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.

•                    Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.

•                    Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends.

•                    Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
