Where will you be working?
Arcadis IBI Group’s Columbus, Ohio office is searching for a Water Resources Co-op student to join its growing team for a co-op or internship opportunity. The student will work directly with Project Managers on various tasks for water and wastewater projects for different facilities. Our Columbus office is a multi-disciplinary team that also works on site development and transportation projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with design of various water and waste water projects for small to large sized facilities.
• Assist technical staff with cost estimating and plan layout
• Opportunities to work with modelling and design software
• Potential work includes water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, water and sewer mains
• Work with engineers and CAD staff to develop preliminary planning documents
• Assist with the design of projects and observe construction projects
• Opportunities to experience meetings with clients, contractors and the business of consulting engineering

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
• Interest in water resources as a career path
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Able to work effectively independently and on a team
• Previous Co-op work experience is an asset
• Available for a 4 month Co-op placement
