  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Responsible Plant Onsite strategic & operational Transportation Planning to meet Plant, Logistic Engineering & TMC Performance Targets. Will play a key role in achieving company objectives and contribute to identifying, analyzing and developing value-added supply chain solutions.

    Main Responsibilities to include:

    Data & system management

    • Route parameters
    • Report management
    • Process innovation
    • Training and development
    • Stakeholder approval process (supplier)

    Network optimization

    • Efficiency monitoring
    • Route analysis
    • Sub-regional optimization
    • Network transformation
    • SQR management
    • Tender support
    • Emergency re-routing
    • Process innovation

    Supply chain coordination

    • Keeping contact with plants
    • Manage plant meetings
    • Represent plant interests within TMC
    • Fine tuning of network
    • Keeping contact with BU
    • Reporting / KPI’s
    • Process innovation
    • Stakeholder approval process (plant, supplier, carrier)

    Project Tasks:

    • Participate in requirements and design workshops
    • Define implementation scope (routes, LSP’s and suppliers)
    • Ensures suppliers are trained
    • Ensure Go-live dates are kept and managed successfully
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    INDEFINITE U.S. WORK AUTHORIZED INDIVIDUALS ONLY. FUTURE SPONSORSHIP FOR WORK AUTHORIZATION IS UNAVAILABLE.

    • Bachelors (or Masters) degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering
    • Minimum of 1 year working in a logistics role or completion of a co-op program in a logistics role
    • Minimum of two years of experience with MS Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Must be self-motivated and willing to be flexible in work schedule and hours.  Sometimes the job requires staying later or taking calls during off hours or weekends to assist with operational issues.   
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship
    • Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (<10%)

    Preferred Skills:

    • At least 2 year’s work experience in transportation field 
    • Must be able to work in teams and to lead small project groups
    • High attention to detail & data quality
    • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma Concepts & Problem Solving tools (5 Whys, 5S, A3, ANOVA, PDCA, SIPOC, VSM)
