Role description
Located on the 1st floor of 10 Exchange Place of the Historic Exchange Place Newhouse Building on old “Whiskey Street”, the IBI Group collaboration studio is in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. With proximity to many restaurants, bars, shops and entertainment venues, the office is easily accessible by bike, public transportation or car. We are minutes away from world class ski resorts and backcountry, unparalleled hiking, biking, rock climbing and a vibrant and growing music and culinary scene. Role accountabilities

• Assist with 3D visualization, prototyping, component design, design development and construction documents
• Work under the direct supervision of a senior staff member or a partner
• Project typologies are typically hospitality, resort, mixed use residential or public
• Assist architects with construction administration phase tasks
• Occasionally assist with planning, urban design and landscape design tasks, office management and proposals

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience

• Students must have completed at least one work term registered in an accredited Architectural program
• Knowledge of various drawing software (AutoCAD, Rhino, 3D Studio, SketchUp, Revit)
• Exposure to architectural design, working drawings, 3D rendering would be considered an asset
• Ability to work independently as well as part of team
• Keen interest to learn and grow
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good time management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work in-office, with some remote work acceptable
