The Los Angeles office is looking for innovative architects to join our team that share our vision and are excited to create the educational and civic facilities that will prepare learners for a future that doesn’t yet exist.

MOST OF THE THINGS YOU WILL WORK ON:

•  Assist Project Architect or Job Captain in the development of Design and Contract Documents
• Perform duties in Design Phases including concept design and presentation drawings and renderings
• Perform duties in the Construction Document Phase including details, schedules, plan and section drawings
• Periodically attend design meetings with clients and sub-consultants
• Periodically attend site reviews

Qualifications

YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE:

• 5-7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN ARCHITECTURAL FIRM WITH A FOCUS ON REVIT BASED PROJECTS - ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY
• University Degree in Architecture
• Registered architect considered an asset 
• Knowledge of Educational (specifically K-12 or Community College, preferred).  Knowledge of Civic, Healthcare, or Mixed-Use Architecture sectors a plus. 
• 3D Rendering skills in various platforms 
• Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Strong Revit experience. 
• Ability to work independently 
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills 
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities 
• Self-motivated, well organized, with a demonstrated passion for design excellence
• Ideal candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate and able to meet deadlines under pressure

Additional Information

Our LA office is currently virtual. When California moves back to being able to go into the office, we will develop our new presence located in or near downtown with an eye on being near transit, restaurants, cafes, and major amenities within walking distance. We currently offer a subsidy for home internet during this WFH period. Our office culture is one of diversity, inclusion and we look to volunteer and give back to the Los Angeles Community.
