Description:
We are seeking a talented Project and Instructional Systems Design Lead to join our team and play a key role in project leadership as we develop critical systems that serve CNO’s mission readiness and certification requirements as well as in the creation of engaging and effective mission-relevant training content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management as well as in the development of web-based training content. This position will need to effectively engage with internal development and subject matter expert teams as well as external stakeholders to ensure success and acceptance of high-quality deliverables.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain schedules, action trackers, and risk registers that serve as tools to monitor and share project health and status.
- Document user and system requirements to support systems development efforts.
- Interact and engage with key stakeholders on deliverables to ensure satisfaction, acceptance, and overall project success.
- Develop and maintain quality standards for the development of web-based training and microlearning content.
- Serve as the authority and lead on matters of instructional design and quality control standards for training content.
- Create frameworks and processes that enable rapid development and delivery of high impact, “just in time” microlearning.
Skills Requirements:
- Certified ScrumMaster.
- Supports Sprint Reviews and Planning with internal teams and customers.
- Experience using Microsoft Project, Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Document meeting minutes and shares with teams and external stakeholders to maintain transparency, common understandings, and accountability to objectives.
- Experience with and direct application of Instructional Systems Design Principles to deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Active and current TS.SCI w FSP
- 12 yrs. of overall experience
- B.S. or 4 additional yrs. in place of B.S.
Preferred:
- Degree in Instructional Systems Design, or a related field (desired, but not required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Ability to author, develop, and test training content using tools like Captivate, Camtasia, and Lectora.
This position is 100% on-site.
