    Job Description

    SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

    An ICMS Employee Benefits Account Manager is responsible for the day to day execution of client services administration for an assigned block of clients. In this important role, the Account Manager is the “face” of ICMS to our clients, solving complex customer service problems, maintaining data integrity and quality, preparing RFPs and taking the lead on renewals. Account Managers serve as the client’s point of contact for all issues and services related to the account.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Provide and manage administrative support to an assigned block of clients
    2. Support senior level client services team members
    3. Day to day contact for client for service needs
    4. Escalate client concerns when appropriate to carriers
    5. Must understand benefit financials and create ad-hoc reports
    6. Maintain data integrity and quality within Benefit Administration platform.
    7. Take lead on designated renewals: prepare RFP, collect and review competitive proposals, prepare renewal presentation illustrating market offerings
    8. Coordinate employee communications for enrollment
    9. Oversee new client set-up, renewals and open enrollment meetings
    10. Establish and preserve a solid business rapport with clients and vendors
    11. Educate clients on applicable legislation and market trends
    12. Generate client interest in additional lines of coverage and cross serving opportunities
    13. Additional responsibilities as assigned

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    This job currently operates in a remote setting with a future plan to return to a professional office environment (CV-19 Permitting). Must be a team player and a self-starter.

    This is a full-time position. Core Schedule of work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Minimum 2-3 years’ industry experience in employee benefits and/or insurance
    • Must obtain and preserve required licenses/certifications as required (company sponsored)
    • Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
    • Proficient use of applicable technology (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Strong communication skills both oral and written with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully conduct employee benefit meetings of varying audience size
