    QUANTITATIVE DEVELOPER

    THE ROLE

    This is a unique opportunity for a student or recent graduate to get immersive experience in quantitative and technical solutions for the financial markets. This is suited for you if you're passionate about quant research and want to build financial trading models, which will be used for the development of new trading strategies for various systematic funds.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Actively enforcing best of breed development practices regarding coding, testing, deployment, etc.
    • Explore and experiment new tools, libraries and technologies to improve our solutions
    • Developing and implementing Python scripts/tools for real-time analytics as part of our bespoke infrastructure
    • Analysing large financial data sets, and communicating insights to the Finance team
    • Interpret functional and technical specifications for macro/micro fundamental data analysis
    • Write new code (in Python and/or Matlab) to clean/filter historical data in-house or external via API Enforcing consistent quality by incorporating tests and performing code reviews

    HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL

    • Gain experience of software development
    • High-level skills in Python, C++, JAVA, C#
    • Acquire ability to write easily understandable and maintainable code in multiple programming languages
    • Build strong DB skills (DB index, table structure, complex queries, etc.)
    • Develop good understanding of data structures
    • Sharpen your strong quantitative, numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

    EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a STEM field (Computer Science/Machine Learning/Mathematics/Physics/Engineering preferred)
    • Ability to learn new systems/programming languages quickly
