    JOB POSTING Administrative/Compliance Specialist Division: Government Services Salary Level: $14.06 Location: Poughkeepsie, New York Contact: ICRJobs1@icrcollect.com Start Date: TBD Position Description Transitional position pending federal clearance. While employees await clearance they will work in our Non Federal Division. Upon gaining clearance rate of pay increases to $14.45 with $4.54 H&W allowance. Responsible for performing day-to-day review and documentation of collection calls in order to evaluate quality compliance with policies and client satisfaction. Perform file audits which include reviewing accounts and documentation on collection systems to ensure department procedures are followed and quality of documentation. This includes auditing company functions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as Federal, state and local laws and regulations. Process ED correspondence. Essential Functions Tasks and Responsibilities - Assist with performing quality review of services provided and department interactions by escalating work flow and communication issues to manager - Audit all phases of the client requirements. - Compile and respond appropriately to complaints - Audit collector files & monitor calls to ensure client contract compliance as well as company and legal requirements are being followed - Audit to ensure collectors respond to correspondence - Cooperate with team members to meet goals or complete tasks - Ensure goals and deadlines are met - Ensure quality of all written communication by reviewing issues and content prior to distribution - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with team members and department contacts - Maintain confidentiality at all times - Make certain all applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations are followed - Participate in the activities associated with a variety of departmental projects including preparing associated documentation in a timely and accurate manner, as requested by supervisor - Perform audits and respond to audit inquiries - Prepare reports, material and documentation - Assist in providing on-going training of employees in accordance to current and new regulations - Put ICR and employees before any personal gain - Review procedures and make suggestions to enhance collection efforts - Review, print, scan & file correspondence - Liaison between consumer and recovery specialist Nonessential Functions Tasks and Responsibilities - Provide backup departmental support - Perform other related duties as assigned Reporting Relationships Supervisor: Compliance Manager Compliance Supervisor Subordinate(s): None Success Factors/Job Competencies - Report preparations and techniques - Ability to maintain excellent documentation and records - Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships - Ability to multitask - Good written and oral communication skills - Good customer service skills - Problem resolution skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Effectively represent ICR values and goals - Working knowledge of collection software/databases - Working knowledge of Company policies and procedures - Working knowledge of quality control practices and procedures - Working knowledge of Collection Practice, Laws and Regulations - Working knowledge of Company software Minimum Qualifications - Ability to successfully complete and pass the FDCPA - Ability to successfully complete and pass the Telephone Techniques Test - High School Diploma or its Equivalent - Ed experience preferred - MS Excel experience at proficient level required - MS Outlook experience at an intermediate level required - MS Word experience at a proficient level required - Clean background for Security Clearance check - Ability to obtain security clearance to work on systems - Work accurately in a fast paced environment. - Reliable transportation required - Ability to pass a Drug Screening Physical Demands - The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
