    ICU Registered Nurse – Nebraska

    About the Role:

    As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients. You’ll collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, high-quality care in accordance with professional nursing standards and hospital policies. Your leadership, judgment, and clinical skills will ensure the best outcomes for patients and their families.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Perform thorough assessments of physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of ICU patients

    • Develop and implement individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and the care team

    • Administer medications and treatments in alignment with physician orders and protocols

    • Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly

    • Document assessments, care provided, and patient progress accurately and promptly

    • Delegate tasks appropriately while supervising other nursing staff

    • Educate patients and families about care, recovery, and discharge plans

    • Support a culture of safety, compassion, and professional development

    Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

    • Current and valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state license

    • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

    • ICU or critical care experience preferred (new grads with strong interest in ICU will be considered)

    • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills

    Work Environment:

    • Fast-paced ICU setting with high acuity patients

    • Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and patients in distress

    • Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to react quickly in emergencies
