ICU Registered Nurse
Temple University Hospital
Philadelphia, PA

Pay: $60 to $65 per hour
Schedule: Nights 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Hours: 36 per week
Contract: 13 weeks

Position overview
Provide care to ICU boarders housed in the PACU. Primary population is trauma overflow, previous trauma training not required. RNs also float to the Emergency Department for ICU holds and to other ICU or stepdown units based on need and census.

Unit operating hours
Monday 7:00 AM through Saturday 7:00 PM. Closed Sundays. Block scheduling considered.

Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients
• Follow current ICU nursing principles and protocols
• Work with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Direct nursing support staff in line with policies and procedures
• Keep required education, training, and certifications current

Requirements
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year ICU or acute care experience preferred
• Active PA Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS through AHA
• COVID 19 vaccination and booster if applicable
