    Job Description

    The Integrated Marketing Communications Manager at IDB is responsible for creating and tactically executing the integrated marketing communications strategy for the North Americas. This position reports into the Head of Marketing.

    MARKETING PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    ·    Manage and execute marketing projects to promote the Bank’s brand and business needs.

    ·    Collaborate regularly with business line leads to deliver marketing and communications plans and projects.

    ·    Lead the Integrated Marketing approach/process by collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver the planned initiatives.

    ·    Manage agency relationships and serve as the key project manager to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.

    ·    Measure and track success of various marketing projects and campaigns.

    CONTENT & BRAND POSITIONING

    ·    Create and write various documentation, including creative briefs, campaign strategies, content calendars, and project schedules.

    ·    Develop and edit internal and external corporate communications collateral (press releases, newsletters, annual reports, and more).

    ·    Build content for online and offline platforms (pitch decks, flyers, brochures, website, intranet, etc.).

    ·    Ensure brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with the Bank’s brand and voice.

    ·    Provide design direction for collateral, web, and other visual communications media for the Bank.

    PR & SOCIAL MEDIA

    ·    Develop and maintain corporate editorial calendars for advertising, media, conferences, speaking, award opportunities, etc.

    ·    Implement media planning, buying, and innovation strategies.

    ·    Manage the Bank’s social media channels by publishing content and monitoring comments.

    ·    Identify media outlets for press releases and promotions.

    ·    Stay up to date with latest industry trends and developments.

    EVENT PLANNING

    ·    Organize and execute events, including research, vendor bids, and program execution.

    ·    Manage detailed plans, budget, and schedules for event and promotional activities.

    ·    Oversee production of event marketing collateral and ensure alignment with the event key messaging.

    ·    Handle event logistic timeline, run of show, and teardown of each event.

    ·    Monitor, review, and report on all event plans, projects and results.

    Qualifications

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    ·    BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or related field.

    ·    10-15 years of experience in a Marketing and Communications role (financial services industry, a plus).

    ·    Experience working with agencies and cross business units to deliver integrated marketing plans and campaigns.

    ·    Able to juggle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

    ·    Superb communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen to the needs of the business and execute the work accordingly.

    ·    Team player with positive “can-do” attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective customer and internal relationships.

    ·    Extreme attention to detail.

    ·    Strong business acumen.

    ·    Creative/critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.

    TECHNICAL SKILLS

    ·    Demonstrated skills in project management.

    ·    Microsoft Office and its tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    ·    Experience working with a CMS, preferred.

    ·    Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud, preferred.

    ·    Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat), a plus.

    ·    Animate, Dreamweaver, Premier or After Effects, a plus.
