    EVALUATION ASSISTANT OVERVIEW: I.D.E.A. Consulting, a small, successful consulting company located in Davis, California, is seeking a full-time Evaluation Assistant to join our team. Pay DOE. ABOUT I.D.E.A. CONSULTING: As an Evaluation Assistant at I.D.E.A. Consulting, you will have the opportunity to work with county and state-level systems to improve outcomes for individuals seeking mental and behavioral health services (e.g. individual/group therapy, substance abuse treatment, housing support services, etc.). These functions include designing programs; preparing reports; writing grants; evaluating service delivery systems; creating and piloting forms and surveys; analyzing and interpreting service-level and outcome data, among other related activities. EVALUATION ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITES: - Assist with the development and preparation of reports, presentations, and other publications, including writing narrative, reviewing, editing, and presenting the reports. - Maintain consistent communication with various county staff and external service providers to prepare reports and refine data collection processes and procedures. - Respond to internal and external requests for data, consistently ensuring accuracy of reported data. - Analyze and interpret demographic and behavioral health data using Microsoft Excel. - Quickly enter data with a high degree of accuracy. - Work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking, keeping organized, and meeting required deadlines. Our office is small and as a result, this individual will also perform administrative duties, project management, and other miscellaneous activities, along with other members of the team, as needed. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in the social sciences (psychology, sociology, etc.) and/or math or statistics. - Ability to write clearly and use proper English, grammar, punctuation, and spelling. - Excellent attention to detail, deadlines, organizational and time management skills. - Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Flexibility and an ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Desired Qualifications - Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate data, including managing spreadsheets, using formulas, and producing charts/graphs. Knowledge of Microsoft Access is also a plus. - Experience working in a small office. - Previous research assistant experience, or experience working in the field of mental/behavioral health.
