Key Responsibilities

1. Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and technical skills to provide patients with informative and compassionate care during their treatment.
2. Prepare treatment rooms and arrange trays according to established procedures and protocols.
3. Educate patients on oral health and provide instructions for proper dental care.
4. Strictly adhere to infection control protocols and ensure the sterilization of instruments and equipment, following office policies, safety guidelines, and OSHA standards.
5. Safeguard patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
6. Maintain dental equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks.
7. Monitor and manage dental supplies inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
8. Efficiently use dental resources to achieve optimal results.
9. Accurately record patient medical and dental histories, vital signs, and treatment details.
10. Assist the dentist during examinations, including charting diagnosed treatments and capturing intra-oral photos before dentist evaluations.
11. Stay current in the field by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in relevant professional societies.
12. Contribute to the attainment of patient satisfaction and office production goals by delivering efficient and exceptional patient service.
13. Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Current California RDH license.
• Current X-ray license.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
