Poidmore Orthodontics is a leading pediatric orthodontic practice in Folsom, CA dedicated to providing exceptional care and treatment to our patients. We specialize in creating beautiful smiles and are committed to delivering outstanding service in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our orthodontist and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. You will work closely with patients, providing assistance during orthodontic procedures and helping to create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

** Schedule**

• This is a full-time position
• Monday through Friday - no weekends
• 8am to 5pm

_ Qualifications & Skills_

• Must have current and active CA certified RDA license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a dental office, preferably in orthodontics
• Upbeat personality is a must
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail

** Responsibilities & Duties**

• Assisting the orthodontist during patient appointments by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and providing chairside support
• Taking dental impressions, x-rays, and photographs as needed for orthodontic treatment planning
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices and orthodontic care instructions
• Monitoring patient progress and making adjustments to orthodontic appliances as directed by the orthodontist
• Maintaining accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Ordering and maintaining inventory of orthodontic supplies and equipment
• Collaborating with the orthodontist and other team members to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care
