Image Orthodontics in San Jose at our Blossom Hill location is looking for a friendly, energetic, highly motivated and organized Dental Assistant to join our busy office! We welcome both Registered Dental Assistants (RDAs) and Dental Assistants (DAs) to apply. Candidates with orthodontic experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly reviewing medical histories and pertinent oral health information.
• Providing skilled dental assistance under the direction of our orthodontist, specifically for all orthodontic procedures.
• Conducting various tasks, such as taking photos, X-rays, and scans of patients.
• Precisely documenting all provided orthodontic services in patients' charts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certification or licensure as a Dental Assistant
• X-Ray Certification
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and keep the office running smoothly
• Effective communication skills
• Compassionate and understanding demeanor when dealing with patients, especially those with dental anxiety
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and situations as they arise.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks during dental procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively with dental team

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
